Before Chris Pratt married Katherine Schwarzenegger, he agreed to one Christmas tradition: Christmas starts on Nov. 1.

“It was an agreement that my husband and I had prior to getting married. Christmas lights and Christmas music start Nov. 1,” Schwarzenegger told Fox News Digital.

“And my daughter Eloise recently said to me, ‘Mommy, it goes Halloween and then right into Christmas, right?’ And I said, ‘Absolutely.’ That’s my child right there. She gets it. So, we’re aligned,” she added.

If it wasn’t obvious already, Schwarzenegger’s favorite time of the year is Christmas.

“The holiday season, like Nov. 1, is my time. It’s like my time of the year, it’s my time to thaw from my icicle that I’ve been living in and to really emerge as a Christmas queen,” she said. “We’re just a day or two into it, and every tradition that we do — from putting up our Christmas lights on Nov. 1 to blasting Christmas music to gathering all together as a family, which I’m really grateful and proud that our family makes a priority every single holiday season.

“Also, just being able to now watch the holidays and see the holidays through children’s eyes is also so special. So, I love all the traditions of the holidays, the decorations being a big part of it,” she added.

Schwarzenegger’s newest children’s book, “Kat and Brandy,” released on Nov. 4 and is about “bravery, overcoming fears, and the healing power of animals.”

“I’ve always been a huge animal lover and have seen firsthand how caring for an animal teaches so much about responsibility, discipline, and the deep, healing connection we can have with them,” she shared in a post on Instagram. “Kat and Brandy is inspired by my real-life pony, Brandy (swipe to see a throwback of the two of us!), and how, through patience and building trust, fears were overcome.

“This story also highlights the power of nature and the importance of shared activities with your child,” she continued. “Whether it’s cooking, spending time outdoors, drawing, or any simple moment between a caregiver and a child… those special times build bonds, boost confidence, and help kids learn to regulate their emotions.

“As a mom to two girls, it was important to me to create a story that shows a young girl working through something that once scared her, and coming out of it feeling strong, brave, and courageous,” she added.
