Kristoffer Polaha and Jennifer Taylor will star in the upcoming faith-based drama BETWEEN THE LINES.
“BETWEEN THE LINES is about the quiet breaking points inside so many homes, and the transformative grace that can meet people even in their worst moments,” writer and producer JD DeWitt said in a statement. “We’re telling a very human story — just through a spiritual lens.”
An official synopsis of the movie reads, “In a small town near a military base, a woman in her late forties forms an unexpected bond with a young soldier, sparking a journey that challenges her marriage and faith — and ultimately leads her and her husband toward surrender, renewal, and the redemptive power of forgiveness.”
In addition to Polaha and Taylor, Josh Swickard and Mayan Lopez will also appear in the project. Shari Rigby (DIVINE INFLUENCER) will direct.
“This project is really special. Can’t wait for you to see it,” Taylor posted on Instagram, with Polaha commenting, “And you’re crushing it!!! Can’t wait for people to watch your work.”
This isn’t the only exciting project Polaha has coming up. He will also star in A GRAND OLE OPRY CHRISTMAS, premiering later this year.
“This is going to be a very special movie for families to enjoy this holiday season, and I can’t wait to help bring it to life along with our incredible director, Clare Niederpruem, and the rest of the crew,” the actor told PEOPLE.
He added, “This beautifully written script sets the stage for an entertaining and heartwarming collaboration between these two amazing American institutions, and Brad Paisley is bringing the music to this party — are you kidding?!”
Polaha stars alongside Nikki DeLoach, who has “revered” the Grand Ole Opry and its members since she was a child.
“In my wildest and biggest dreams, I never imagined that I would one day be able to be a part of its story,” she told PEOPLE. “And to do it alongside one of my longest and best friends, Kris Polaha, the legend that is Brad Paisley and with our Hallmark Channel team, is an unimaginable dream come true. I am beyond honored, humbled and grateful.”
Paisley, who is writing and recording Hallmark’s “official anthem” for their 2025 Countdown to Christmas, said he “loved the challenge of creating that same magic with this music by letting it take you to the same place that these movies and this world Hallmark has built.”
There’s no word yet on when fans can expect BETWEEN THE LINES, but in the meantime, they can catch Polaha in A GRAND OLE OPRY CHRISTMAS this winter.
