Kylie Kelce, the wife of former NFL star Jason Kelce, relies on her “mommy senses” to help raise their four kids.
During an episode of her podcast, “Not Gonna Lie,” Kylie described her daughter Wyatt telling her that her mommy senses were “tingling,” per PEOPLE.
“I was on the phone with Queen Emma right before bedtime, and Wyatt said to me, ‘My mommy senses are tingling.’ And I said, ‘You’re what?’ And she said, ‘My mommy senses are tingling,'” Kylie said on the podcast. “And when I tried to ask her to explain what she meant, she could not. We did not arrive at what her mommy senses were or why they tingle.”

On the podcast, Kylie read the definition of “mommy senses.”
“Mommy senses refers to the phenomenon where mothers experience heightened sensory awareness, intuition and emotional sensitivity, especially during and after pregnancy,” the mom of four read.
“Well, let me tell you about this. I swear on my whole life that I have mom reflexes, and they are better and more honed in after I had children,” Kylie shared. “And I’m not just saying that. If something is falling, I can move like Spider-Man speed.”
“I don’t know how to explain it, but it just…and like…and I catch things that are about to fall on tiny humans, and it’s fascinating to me,” she continued.
Kylie went on to explain that after having kids, her five senses became heightened.
“Speaking of smell, I can smell a dirty diaper, specifically from one of my children, from a mile away. I don’t know if it’s just your nose is tuned into their brand, if you catch my drift,” Kylie said while laughing. “But I wholeheartedly know that that’s the truth.”
“Well, I feel very validated in this just in terms of my motherhood feelings. But now I have an answer for Wyatt when she comes back to me,” she added.
Kylie and Jason share four daughters: Wyatt Elizabeth, 6, Elliotte Ray, 4, Bennett Llewellyn, 2, and Finnley “Finn” Anne, 8 months.
Kylie shared a hilarious picture on social media of the moment she and Jason shared the news of a new baby sister with their older three daughters.
“I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister. At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page!” she wrote.
Many moms can relate to Kylie’s heightened senses — and ability to smell her kids’ diapers.
