Actress Melissa Joan Hart Calls Out Division in Body of Christ With This Verse

Election season exposes our nation’s divisiveness more than any other time. While not explicitly political, actress Melissa Joan Hart posted on Instagram a scripture about rebuking discord among believers.
“As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned,” Hart posted Titus 3:10 as part of her devotional.
While most assumed it was referring to one political candidate or the other, her only reply was to one follower. The fan thanked the actress for her post that confirmed cutting ties with someone they had tried to make peace with was the right decision.
“@nicolelove_87 I’m happy it could help you bring some peace to your life. The Bible is full of wonderful advice meant for a plethora of problems,” the CLARISSA EXPLAINS IT ALL star replied.
The mom of three is outspoken about her faith and how prayer plays a crucial part in her family’s life.
“We pray constantly. We pray over every meal. We pray every bedtime. We pray on every journey,” Hart said. “We pray whenever someone in the family needs that; we pray for people that we know in the world that need it … We’re church-going Sunday people and we’re Bible study people and we really try to live a life based on what Jesus taught us.”
The New York native isn’t the only celebrity calling believers to unity, especially in the dicey political climate. Creed lead singer Scott Stapp spoke out at a recent concert saying that the “powers that be” want to keep the nation divided, reported The Christian Post.
“The only way to make change is to wake up and come together as one. Focus on what we have in common, which is life, freedom, love, happiness,” Stapp told the audience.
He went on to say, “We start reminding them of what our Bill of Rights says. We start reminding them that we are a constitutional republic based upon the Bible and the Word of God, not a democracy. Go study. Go do your homework.”
Christian artist Danny Gokey recently posted his song “My America (I Still Believe),” released last year on his album Brave, to remind fans to not “let this election season divide us!”
He added, “Share this song with someone you might not agree with, and let it be a reminder of all that we still have in common!”

Outspoken believer Chris Pratt also shared his thoughts on social media via a poem he discovered, “Indivisible,” that calls out divisive media rhetoric on both the left and right sides of the aisle.
The ultimate message of the poem is to remind us that “Under God we are Indivisible”
