Sadie Robertson Huff shared words of encouragement in a new social media series, kicking things off with her “Plane Prayers.”
“I’ve had it on my heart to share a little encouragement on here each week so I’ve been storing some up 🙂 I’m going to call them Heart Holders,” she posted on Instagram.
The first Heart Holders installment are Huff’s Plane Prayers, which she mentioned on a recent podcast episode and “really resonated with people.”
“I know flying can stir up a lot of anxiety and I have found that the most helpful thing to calm my anxiety is not only to pray, but to focus on what I’m praying for!” Huff wrote.
Some of those prayers are focused on a desire to “carry God’s presence and the fruit of who He is would dwell within me.” Others are prayers for the pilots, mechanics and air traffic controllers.
Huff also shared some scripture she keeps in mind while flying, including Psalm 104 and Psalm 46.
“I hope y’all ‘like’ these, but more than an ig like — I hope these are the things you hit the save button on. Something you want to hold on to and come back later for some truth,” she concluded.
Huff and her husband Christian recently celebrated the birth of their third child, a daughter named Kit.
“God has hand crafted every detail of her story, and we are just in awe of His goodness!” she wrote in an Instagram post. “We can’t wait to watch all that He has for her life unfold. Soaking it all in.”

Huff’s mother, Korie Robertson, also posted about Kit’s birth, writing, “There’s truly nothing like watching your daughter give birth to a daughter (which now I’ve had the absolute joy and privilege of witnessing 3 times!!)”
She continued, “@legitsadierob you are a super mama!! Like truly amazing! So very proud of you and the strength and faithfulness that you carry, and so very grateful to get to be Mom and Kmama to you and all of the beautiful, amazing girls you are growing.”
“We love you, Kit Carroway. You were knit together so tenderly by your heavenly Father and are already so loved by all of us!” she concluded.
Huff’s new Instagram “Heart Holders” series is a sweet and simple way to stay connected with your faith throughout your everyday life.
