Movieguide® Announces Nominees for 32nd Annual Awards Gala
By Movieguide® Staff
Movieguide®, the number one family movie and television show review service, just announced the nominees for its 32nd Annual Movieguide® Faith & Values Awards Gala.
Taking place on Feb. 7 at the Avalon Theatre in Hollywood, the event will honor movies, TV shows and documentaries that inspire and give viewers hope. The program will also feature a special tribute to first responders who put their lives on the line in recent weeks as fires ravaged the Los Angeles area.
“There has been so much devastation to our city, we feel there is no better time to come together for strength and hope,” said Movieguide® CEO Robby Baehr. “We want to celebrate those who bring joy and entertainment to the big screen and provide a space where families come together to escape from the world around them. We also want to honor the First Responders who risked their lives to save Los Angeles. We must continue to lean on each other and help find the light in the darkness.”
The event will be broadcast on the Great American Family network in the coming weeks.
“The start of 2025 has been rough to say the least,” added Movieguide® Founder and Publisher Dr. Ted Baehr. “And at The Movieguide® Awards, we want to be a refuge for those who want to find peace and comfort. We honor quality family-friendly films and programs that have themes of hope, faith, joy and redemptive love and inspire viewers. Great American Family supports us in this vision and we are looking forward to another year of partnership.”
