Movieguide® Launches Exclusive Membership Benefits, Including Access to THE CHOSEN

Movieguide® launched an exclusive program this month that will grant members access to premium benefits tailored to meet family values in a media-saturated environment.
Called Movieguide+, the partnership platform will offer a one-stop shop to everything a family needs for their entertainment needs.

Because you give, we can bless you with little moments of joy through what we produce,” says Robby Baehr, Movieguide® CEO. “We’ve built our ministry with a small team taking on big media, and we love inspiring families with hope about how we’re breaking through the darkness in entertainment. Additionally, donors will receive a welcome gift of a DVD box set of THE CHOSEN season 4.
“As a dad of four little cuties, I know how important it is that we see biblical worldview in our entertainment,” Baehr says. “I don’t want my kids to be exposed to the darkness that’s often on our screens. Instead, I want them to see that there are options that can edify Jesus, teaching Christian principles through storylines about forgiveness, redemption, kindness, self-sacrifice and more. I love what we’ve put together on movie guide.org, showing you that media doesn’t have to be doom and gloom. Instead, it can shine a spotlight on the little moments of hope we see all around us.

In 1985, Dr. Ted Baehr and his wife, Lili Baehr, founded Movieguide® in Atlanta, Georgia, in hopes to cultivate a better media landscape for their children and future generations.
Movieguide® started as a radio program, then a TV program and finally as a bi-weekly magazine. Even though the struggles in the beginning seemed insurmountable, God blessed the ministry with success.
In the 1990s, Movieguide® relocated its headquarters to the greater Los Angeles region, to be closer to all the Hollywood action. To date, Movieguide® now has TV and radio shows that are broadcasted in over 200 countries and a website filled with resources including movie reviews and articles.
Each week, Movieguide® produces hundreds of articles, reviews and videos to serve family audiences.
