The Olympics are right around the corner, and what better way to get in the competitive spirit than to revisit one of Team USA’s most iconic wins: the Miracle on Ice.

Netflix’s upcoming documentary MIRACLE: THE BOYS OF ’80 will allow viewers to “Relive the story of ‘Miracle on Ice’ told with never-before-seen 16mm footage and firsthand reflections from the 1980 US Hockey team players who delivered a historic Olympics victory against the USSR at the height of the Cold War,” Netflix shared on X.

It premieres on the streamer on Jan. 30.

This isn’t the only commemorative event for the historic moment.

Earlier this month, Jim Craig, Mike Eruzione and Mark Johnson, Olympic gold medalists from the team, as well as the broadcaster from the 1980 game, Al Michaels, reunited at Michelob Ultra’s “Run Back the Miracle” experience.

It combined “art, technology and storytelling to retell sports history using the latest in high-definition holograms, full-surface ice projection, archival items and never-before-seen footage from the game,” Anheuser-Busch reported.

The former hockey players were thrilled to be part of it.

“When I heard Michelob ULTRA set out to pay tribute to this defining moment in U.S. sports history so fans today could experience what we all did back in 1980, I jumped at the opportunity to be a part of this event,” Craig said of the event, per PR Newswire. “As we prepare to rally fans to support Team USA Hockey in February, I’m excited to relive that experience.”

Just before the event, Craig explained how excited he was to relive the moment of winning an Olympic gold medal for the United States.

“What we’re able to do here is we’re able to relive the moment that we never had a chance to do. When the Olympics ended, you know, I think in five days, I was playing in the National Hockey League. So was Mark Johnson,” he told Fox News Digital. “We just, all of a sudden, we were on a team, and we were just gone. And so, this is going to be great. We’re going to relive years of experience. It’s going to bring back this memory to different generations.

“Some of us were lucky enough to play in the World Championships in 1979 in height of the Cold War, and the games were in Moscow. So we really saw how the USSR back then utilized sport as propaganda. To me, it’s not about politics, but you can’t help but get some of those in there. It’s really about pride of being and representing your country, right? And understand that brand is more important than you,” Craig continued.

Netflix will release the 108-minute documentary about Team USA’s historic 1980 win over the Soviet Union tomorrow, Jan. 30.
