New seasons of LOVE ON THE SPECTRUM and MILLION DOLLAR SECRET are officially in the works at Netflix.
“[LOVE ON THE SPECTRUM] itself has actually become the template for people to then think, ‘That’s what love can look like in my life, and I can be like that character who doesn’t necessarily fit the typical stereotype,’” Karina Holden, the reality show’s co-creator, told Netflix’s Tudum.
She continued, “The uniqueness of individuals within LOVE ON THE SPECTRUM has allowed people to be confident to pursue their version of relationships and friendships and love.”
In LOVE ON THE SPECTRUM, young people on the autism spectrum explore the ups and downs of the dating scene. Stars Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman found love on the reality show.
“Meeting David has changed my life tremendously,” Romeo told Parade. “I used to feel isolated and alone as a kid. But now, as an adult, I feel accepted for who I am. I appreciate that he understands the way my mind works.”
Isaacman added, “I like [Abbey’s] personality, and she’s as sweet as all of my favorite desserts. She’s pretty, smart, funny, lovely, and beautiful all at the same time.”
LOVE ON THE SPECTRUM will return to the streamer for a fourth season. Meanwhile, MILLION DOLLAR SECRET will score its second season.
In the competition reality show, one contestant is immediately awarded a million dollars. They must keep it a secret as the rest of the cast tries to figure out who is the millionaire — and potentially win some money of their own.

Warning: spoilers ahead! MILLION DOLLAR SECRET’s first winner, Cara Kies, spoke to Tudum about her time on the show, saying trusting her gut instincts are what helped her come out on top.
“I’ve always had that intuition since I was a little girl,” she explained. “I think God blessed me with incredible discernment, and I’ve always used it to the best of my ability. I knew that was going to be my one plus in this game…I stayed true to myself and trusted my intuition the whole time, every single move I made.”
Kies continued, “That morning, I woke up, said my prayers, and knew I was getting the money…being able to tell [my husband I won], it was a dream come true. He’s always been so supportive of me, and he believed in me. Same with my family. They all knew that I could do this.”
The renewals of LOVE ON THE SPECTRUM and MILLION DOLLAR SECRET show just how successful Netflix’s recent forays into the world of reality TV have been.
