Former model Nicole Weider is celebrating her cancer remission and reflecting on God’s plan for her life.
“If I hadn’t given my life to Jesus at 24, I wouldn’t be married for almost 15 years with my 3 precious kids,” she wrote in a recent Instagram video. “The butterfly effect I believe is God’s plan for our lives, and those years of faith I placed in God’s hands helped me face my hardest struggle I would later go through…fighting and overcoming Stage 4 breast cancer.”
Weider continued, “Praise God I’m in remission! I believe God is the master author and I live each day grateful and hopeful for Him. Trust God today. He will take you where you need to go and set you on the best path for your life.”
Weider was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. She announced she was in remission the following year.
“It’s hard to even believe this and it feels surreal typing it but I am in REMISSION now from cancer!!!” she wrote in an Instagram post. “Praise Jesus!”
In another post, Weider celebrated one year cancer-free.

“Today i mark one year as a breast cancer survivor!! and I am so thankful to be alive,” she wrote. “I give all the glory to Jesus…I don’t take a day for granted and I thank God every day.”
Weider has frequently spoken about how she has leaned on her faith during her cancer battle.
“In 2024, I faced one of the hardest battles of my life, fighting breast cancer- but through it all, God never left my side,” she wrote. “His strength carried me when mine ran out, and His promises gave me hope when I couldn’t see the way forward. Today, I stand here as living proof of His faithfulness, mercy, and grace. If you’re in the middle of a storm, know this: God is with you, fighting for you, and working all things for your good.”
Now, Weider is focusing on family, as well as getting her acting career off the ground.
“In my work as an actress I’m learning to embrace my ‘messier’ side which naturally is a part of me, and it’s been so much fun to let loose and show other sides of me in my work,” she wrote. “I am just now coming into my own and I know God has good things in store for me.”
Weider’s celebration of life post-remission is a reminder to trust in God’s plan and have faith, even in the hardest times.
