Our Favorite Biblical Memes Based on the SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Trailer

Sony dropped the trailer for SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME on Tuesday, confirming several fan theories about the new movie.

One key fan theory — and now movie reality — relied on the multiverse concept, bringing in villains (and potentially heroes!) from previous SPIDER-MAN franchises.

Alfred Molina played Tobey Maguire’s foil in SPIDER-MAN 2 as Doc Ock. Molina returns in NO WAY HOME with one phrase sure to send shivers down the spines of everyone watching: “Hello, Peter.”

Conveniently, Peter is also a pretty popular person from the Bible, and the scene from the trailer inspired dozens of Christian content creators to create memes all about Peter. Here are some of our favorites:
