Reba McEntire has some tricks up her sleeve for the latest season of THE VOICE!
“Fans, who should they go with?” the country superstar and coach on Season 28 of the show asked the live audience. In response, the audience members raised large, paper fans with McEntire’s face on them.
Fellow coach Niall Horan jokingly told them, “Put them down!” while Snoop Dogg said, “When I say she got fans, she got fans.”

Along with McEntire, Horan and Snoop, Michael Bublé will also serve as a coach this season.
“I love it here,” he told Extra TV of his return to THE VOICE. “I really do like the people. [I] like working with the artists.”
McEntire echoed Bublé’s comments in a recent interview but admitted she was initially unsure that she should take the coaching job.
“I was really dreading it at first because I don’t want to tell anybody they suck,” she shared during a May interview on LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS. “I passed on it years ago when it first came over from Holland, and I said, ‘I can’t tell somebody, you know, don’t give up your day job.’ I’m not gonna do that!”
McEntire continued, “But the way we did it on the first time I was on THE VOICE, it was more helpful and encouraging. We’re nice people. We encourage. We lift up.”
This isn’t the only TV project McEntire is working on. The country singer is also preparing for sitcom HAPPY’S PLACE’s second season, which is set to premiere in November.
“[Season 2] is going to be very good and entertaining,” she told Good Housekeeping of the upcoming episodes. “It’s got great points for every character, and the show gives everyone a chance to shine. Us actors may be very different from each other and diversified in our lives, ages and backgrounds. But we’re all gelling and that’s the great thing.”
Co-star and former REBA castmate Melissa Peterman also celebrated HAPPY’S PLACE’s renewal during an appearance on THE JASON SHOW.
“The first time it happened, I had no idea what that REBA show was gonna do for my life. How it would change my life, give my lifelong friends,” she said. “You kind of don’t know, you’re like, ‘This is great, this is fun!’”
Peterman continued “And the second time around [on HAPPY’S PLACE], we’re older, a little wiser, and I think we all realize it’s even more precious because we do know how rare it is to get to do this and to get to it with friends. We take care of it. We’re savoring every minute.”
From a new season of her hit sitcom to pulling out all the stops on the next season of THE VOICE, it looks like McEntire is in it to win it!
