Despite life’s chaos, Sadie Robertson Huff knows it’s important to enjoy the little moments, reflecting on God’s blessings in a recent Instagram post.
“Looking at this cute little photo dump from the week has me doing some thinking…” she wrote in the caption accompanied by a carousel of photos of her family.
“On one hand, this is the epitome of a highlight reel. Everyone mentions that ‘Instagram is just a highlight reel,’ and you never see the whole picture. That is 100% true! And this week, it is truly the ultimate one!” the DUCK DYNASTY: THE REVIVAL star continued.
She then revealed that despite the sweet photos of her, her husband, Christian, and their girls playing at the beach, the week was the “wildest.”
“Just the bullet points: car got broken into, so many important things stolen, nose bleeds on planes, sickness in the whole fam, ER visits, highest fever I’ve ever seen, tantrums, and Braxton hicks galore,” she shared.
But instead of wallowing in the hardships, she focused on the “good moments.”
“I have SO MANY PICS OF THE GOOD MOMENTS,” Huff said, noting that they had a “last family trip” on the calendar “before the baby and a true break from work.”
The reality star explained that the devil comes to “kill, steal, and destroy, but Jesus said that He has come to give life, and life to the fullest!” paraphrasing John 10:10.
“So yes, here’s our highlight reel. But it’s just the life to the full part. The other stuff was there this week, too. It was hard. It was scary. It was a lot,” Huff noted. “Yet, God was there, and I’ve seen the power of prayer, family, and the power of the Spirit in a new way. I’m very grateful for these pictures and these moments with my family after walking through it all with them.”

People in the comment section were grateful for Huff’s message.
“Love this so much ❤️ so easy to forget the good moments and focus on the bad ones,” one person said.
Another fan added, “What a genuine treasure your family is. Thank you for the reels and the “reals”. It’s so good to hold the good and the hard in the same hands that praise Him for everything. Thank you!!”
Huff is currently pregnant with baby No. 3. She and Christian haven’t announced the baby’s gender, but she said in an Instagram Q&A that they recently chose his or her name. “I literally can’t wait to share! It’s the sweetest story!” she said.
Huff’s message is a reminder that even when life gets hard, it is important to focus on the good moments.
