In a recent interview, TRANSFORMERS star Tyrese Gibson gave glory to what he calls the real “transformer” — Jesus.
“I want y’all to know I got $10 billion on my name, and the Lord Jesus Christ stays on my tongue,” Gibson said, adding that he professes “love for the kingdom is everywhere I go.”
The FAST AND FURIOUS actor gestured to a cross with Jesus on it, which sat between two Transformer figurines.
“I was in TRANSFORMERS 1, 2, and 3 directed by Michael Bay,” he said. “The moment that I knew we was doing this interview, I came and I put this cross in between both of these robots, and I was able to make a connection that…these transformers have finally met the most powerful transformer ever: the Lord Jesus Christ.”
“Y’all caught up in the robot. That’s good. I’m caught up in the ultimate transformer,” he explained.
In 2023, he shared that devil has heavy influence in Hollywood.
“They [are] going above and beyond to promote the devil,” Tyrese Gibson said on the “Big Boy TV Hip Hop” podcast in 2023.
“The devil is on the mainstage at award shows and in every video, and you have signs and symbols,” he explained. “I just feel like we’re in competition right now because they are trying to normalize the devil.”
He said that Christians need to treat God better, make Him a priority and be “vocal” about what He means to them.

“We should, as believers, we should go the rest of our lives trying to figure out God. That should be an everlasting hunt,” he shared. “… I’m looking as a person who is overwhelmed with what God has decided to put me in and has done over my life, even when I’ve went above and beyond to mess it up myself.
Last year, he told his social media followers, “You guys need to understand that there are people out here involved in dark things,” he continued. “But it’s not just celebrities. There are way more regular people into this dark demonic s*** than celebrities. Y’all are just caught up in us.”
Throughout the video, Tyrese Gibson emphasized that his faith is his top priority.
“I love God, not just privately, but publicly,” he said. “I cast demonic spirits away from me every day. I walk strongly with my beliefs.”
Gibson is clearly courageous in his faith. In an industry that tries to throw a blanket over Christian beliefs, he stands strong as a bright light.
