What This NFL Legend Learned From 2024 Olympians

Multi-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady just arrived back in the United States after he and his daughter, Vivian, spent time at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“I didn’t quite know what to expect going into @Paris2024, but our three days truly went above and beyond what i could ever have imagined,” he wrote on Instagram. “We saw athletes from many sports and many countries, but it was especially meaningful to be able to come to this incredible city with my daughter and watch the most powerful women I’ve ever seen, fight for gold, silver and bronze. For the first time in Olympic history there was a 50:50 split of female and male athletes, a stat I was proud to tell Vivi as she watched these heroes compete.”

Brady detailed the power of sports.

“Sports are truly unique all over the world with how they bring so many people together, and bring out the best in all of us, both competitors and fans,” he added. “I certainly seemed to be living and dying with each of the performances, with a great appreciation for the hard work, commitment, and dedication It takes to compete at this level.

“I’ve said it a few times lately, but we should all aspire to do HARD things,” Brady concluded. “Whether it’s in sports or in life, push yourself beyond your comfort zone to see what you can really accomplish. Just like these athletes all across the world have done! Congratulations to the champions, the competitors, and the entire city of Paris on a once in a lifetime event With countless memories and enduring relationships.”

Movieguide® previously reported on Brady’s love of spending time with his family:

Despite his following, Brady still champions his family as his most outstanding achievement, which he often talks about on his social media.

“If you look at my social, I want that to be fun and reflective. I want people to enjoy it,” he told Variety. “Lives are hard. I feel like I’m the kid who grew up in San Mateo, Calif., that found something I love to do. And it came with a lot of other stuff. Trying to manage and juggle that is my own unique challenge in my life — and to not lose touch with what’s really important, which is being a good dad, having a good family. And then the things I’m doing — committing to my team — I want to be good in those things too.”

The legendary quarterback has talked about fatherhood in the past.

“Fatherhood is a great responsibility — being available and present is the most important thing,” he told TODAY. “Something that I continue to work on is making sure I have enough time to connect. It’s always a work in progress.”

A scroll through his Instagram highlights his love for his kids: Jack, 16, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11.

“THANK YOU, to these kids for giving me the gift of being a father, a joy that I could have never imagined until you came into my life. I hope that I can give you all that my dad gave me… unconditional love and support,” he posted on Father’s Day.
