What Would ‘Jesus’ Ask Jesus? His Answer Will Leave You in Tears

THE CHOSEN star Jonathan Roumie left everyone speechless in an interview posted to Instagram.

“If you were to have a cup of coffee with Jesus, what’s that one question you would ask?” a reporter asked.

“How did I do?” Roumie quickly responded. “Did I get it close?”

“Wow,” she responded. She hesitated with teary eyes. “That’s good, that’s really good.”

“Now some of the…You got me.” She tried to continue the interview but was too choked up to speak. Roumie responded, also full of emotion. “Yeah, me too. It’s a good question,” he said.

Instagram users commented with emotion.

“That question is special for Jonathan, but for sure it applies to all of us: ‘How did I do?’” one user said.

Another person chimed in, “One of those moments where silence speaks truth louder than a bunch of words ever could. Absolutely beautiful.”

Roumie has recently shared how playing Jesus on THE CHOSEN has changed his personal relationship with God.

“Deepened doesn’t quite describe the extent of it,” he told Catholic News Agency. “I think it’s brought me to a place where I know that I can’t really do anything without Jesus, and I’m reminded of that constantly.”

“And my aim in my daily life is to try to live up to the principals and the bar that Christ himself has set as a fully human, fully divine man walking the earth, and knowing that I will never reach that bar and being okay with it and knowing that this is part of the journey,” he added. “So, year, that’s, you know, aspiring towards sainthood and failing and falling every step of the way, but just keeping Jesus in front of me as I go…that’s my main goal these days.”

THE CHOSEN is getting close to wrapping up what creator Dallas Jenkins calls a “heavy and weighty” Season 5.

“We are covering in Season 5 the most important week in history. Season 6 is the most important day in history,” he said.
