YouTube now has the biggest streaming library of SESAME STREET.

Viewers can watch over 100 full episodes on the platform, all for no cost. The episodes are available on YouTube and YouTube Kids, Variety reported.

“Our Street just got a little longer,” Sesame Street celebrated on Thursday. “@YouTube now has the largest digital library of Sesame Street content! For the first time ever, more than 100 full episodes of Sesame Street are available for free on YouTube.”

“Watch everything from beloved, iconic episodes to recent season adventures across the Sesame Street and Sesame Street Classics channels. Whether you’re an old friend or a brand-new pal, we’re so excited to welcome you to our neighborhood on YouTube.”

All 100+ episodes are on the Sesame Street YouTube channel and the Sesame Street Classics channel. Everything is posted as of Jan. 15, 2026.

The series premiere in 1969, “Welcome to Sesame Street,” is one of the episodes available. The historic episode introduces Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, Kermit the Frog and more. Other significant episodes include “Goodbye Mr. Hooper,” “Snuffy is Revealed,” “Mr. Rogers Visits” and “Maria & Luis Get Engaged.”

The partnership between YouTube and Sesame Workshop has been underway since last year, Engadget reported.

SESAME STREET is also available on Netflix. The platform has an agreement with Sesame Workshop for streaming rights to current episodes — the show is now in its 56th season. HBO Max also has a collection.

In the US, SESAME STREET airs on PBS stations and PBS Kids digital platforms.

YouTube also has SESAME STREET shorts and one- to two-hour compilations curated by topic, like the ABCs, STEM and animals.

“Families already enjoy SESAME STREET on the big screen, with over half of the official Sesame Street channel’s watch time happening on connected TVs,” Katie Kurtz, YouTube’s managing director of youth and learning partnerships, said. “Now, they have even more to explore.”

This is a good move for YouTube, as over half (58.3%) of US kids use the platform. The SESAME STREET YouTube channel brought in over 5 billion views last year, Parents reported.

The YouTube collection is primarily older episodes, while Netflix gets the newer ones. This strategy expands SESAME STREET over multiple platforms and gives fans a reason to visit both.

Recent episodes feature themes about kindness and feature humorous moments with guest appearances from Miley Cyrus and NASCAR champ Bubba Wallace.

“Season 56 reimagines SESAME STREET, inviting children into the action and bringing them hand-in-hand through high-stakes stories, powerful learning moments, and laugh-out-loud surprises,” said Sal Perez, an Executive Producer. “And, as always, SESAME STREETs curriculum is designed to meet children’s most pressing needs — so our focus this season is on kindness and compassion, something we can all use more of today.”

To see those new episodes, make sure to tune into PBS or Netflix.
