What You Need To Know:

CALL ME BY YOUR NAME is a graphic, loathsome homosexual drama set in 1983. Young 17-year-old Elio is vacationing in Italy with his parents. His father is a professor specializing in Greco-Roman culture and his mother is a translator. Every summer, they house a young boarder to intern for Elio’s father. This time, the boarder is Oliver, a handsome 25-year-old American graduate student studying for his doctorate. Elio starts a sexual relationship with a girl his own age, but also begins a secret, torrid homosexual affair with Oliver, who preys on Elio’s youthful vulnerability.

Based on an acclaimed novel, CALL ME BY YOUR NAME exudes a lyrical style. Beautifully photographed, it tries to uplift its sordid story by stressing the pseudo-intellectual traits of its empty-headed characters. Ultimately, CALL ME BY YOUR NAME confuses lust with love. As such, it’s one of the most explicit, abhorrent mainstream movies of the year, homosexual or heterosexual. CALL ME BY YOUR NAME is a movie designed for and made by misguided, agenda-driven people with a warped, confused sense of art and a warped, delusional mind.

Content:

(RoRoRo, HoHoHo, L, V, SSS, NN, A, D, MMM) Very strong Romantic, homosexual worldview and loathsome fantasy where 25-year-old man tries to seduce 17-year-old boy, who is shown actually to want to be with the older male, and boy’s father eventually validates the homosexual fling at the movie’s end, implying that he too dreamed of having such a “profound” homosexual affair, but he’s almost stuck with being married to a woman, the boy’s mother; six obscenities (five “f” words and one “ah” word); brief fighting in one scene; some very strong, strong and light sexual content includes depicted homosexual kissing and fondling in bed between a 17-year-old boy and 25-year-old male grad student, depicted but obscured homosexual oral sex, depicted fornication between 17-year-old boy and girl of same age, depicted masturbation by 17-year-old boy involving an apricot, and 25-year-old man learns about it and starts to eat the apricot to gross the boy out, implied heterosexual fornication between 17-year-old boy and girl, implied homosexual sex, and homosexual and heterosexual kissing, some passionate and some more romantic; upper female nudity during implied heterosexual scene, rear male nudity in two scenes with sexual connotations, and lots of upper male nudity in sexual and non-sexual situations; alcohol use; smoking; and, teenage boy keeps secret heterosexual and homosexual affairs from his parents (the homosexual affair is with a 25-year-old intern working for his father, father eventually finds out about the homosexual relationship but validates it at the end, though he probably wouldn’t have done so if it involved a 17-year-old daughter so there’s a subtext of a weird double standard which is typical stupidity for “enlightened” leftists), characters are a bit pompous and self-rationalizing, and older man goes off and gets married to a woman, betraying his younger homosexual “lover” and probably his intended wife.

More Detail:

CALL ME BY YOUR NAME is a graphic, loathsome homosexual drama set in 1983 that fantasizes a 17-year-old boy wants to have a serious sexual affair with an older 25-year-old man working for his father. CALL ME BY YOUR NAME presumes that it’s a profound movie about a homosexual relationship, but it actually shows the roots of pedophilia and lust that are the true nature of homosexual perversion and same-sex attraction.

Young Elio is vacationing in sunny Italy with his parents. His father is a professor specializing in Greco-Roman culture and his mother is a translator. Every summer, they take in a young boarder to intern for Elio’s father. This time, the boarder is Oliver, a handsome 25-year-old American graduate student studying for his doctorate.

As Elio starts a romance with his friend, a girl named Marzia, he becomes increasingly attracted to Oliver. One day, Oliver places a hand on Elio’s shoulder, but Elio draws away. Eventually, however, Elio and Oliver begin torrid, secret affair, even though Elio and Marzia continue to see one another and fornicate twice.

Based on an acclaimed novel, CALL ME BY YOUR NAME exudes a lyrical style. Beautifully photographed, it tries to uplift its sordid story by stressing the pseudo-intellectual traits of its characters. The movie acts like it’s a romantic story of two men who share a deep emotional connection, especially on the part of the 17-year-old boy. However, if young Elio is so smitten with Oliver in a truly romantic way, why does he sleep with Marzia? If the filmmakers are so interested in the romance between Elio and Oliver, why does the romance always end up in a graphic sexual rendezvous?

This doesn’t mean that there are no moments in the movie where Elio and Oliver share a romantic moment. There are such moments.

Ultimately, though, CALL ME BY YOUR NAME confuses lust with love. As such, it’s one of the most explicit, abhorrent mainstream movies of the year, homosexual or heterosexual. CALL ME BY YOUR NAME is a movie for misguided, agenda-driven people with a warped, confused sense of art and a warped, delusional mind. If Elio were a 17-year-old girl, people would be upset that Oliver took advantage of the girl’s emotions and her parents’ hospitality. If Elio were a teenage girl, the father would be livid about Oliver seducing his daughter instead of validating Elio’s affair as he does in the movie. Of course, admirers of the movie are ignoring that.
