The program contains several possible questionable elements, such as upper male nudity at the beach and another instance in the bath. A character wears a fairy costume, and the children wish on stars. However, these elements are subtle. In one clip, the family plays together at the beach. The males are not wearing shirts but are wearing swim trunks.

The next clip includes a beautiful, gentle rendition of the classic pop song “Stand by Me,” which may bring a tear to the eye. Later, the children participate in a stage play. One child is dressed up as a fairy with wings, but there’s no reference to magical elements.

Later, the children play together at school, teaching each other patience and encouraging one another as they work. In “Star Light Star Bright,” the children wish on a star. Another song features a teacher encouraging the children to meditate and focus. Later, the children look at the stars with a telescope and sing “Twinkle Little Star” while using their imaginations to find different shapes in the sky.

While the first season of the spin-off series COCOMELON LANE stirred controversy by featuring a same-sex couple encouraging their young son to dance in a tutu and other costumes, Season 11 of COCOMELON is free of LGBTQ content. The quality is bright and vivid, with fast-moving images which may, however, overstimulate younger viewers.

Overall, COCOMELON is a positive and educational program show for children. MOVIEGUIDE® advises children aged two and under have no screen time, while preschoolers aged three to five should have extremely limited and monitored screen time. Parental discretion is advised.
