More Detail:
THREE WISER MEN AND A BOY is the hilarious sequel to 2022’s THREE WISER MEN AND A BABY. The movie follows brothers Luke, Stephan and Taylor Brenner as they try to save Luke’s son Thomas’ school Christmas pageant and navigate their mother’s new relationship.
THREE WISER MEN AND A BOY opens with all three brothers feeling a little adrift in their lives. Luke is struggling to juggle fatherhood and friendships with his new job as chief of the fire station. Stephan is working to promote his new book about overcoming anxiety. Finally, Taylor can’t get anyone to buy the video game he’s developed.
Stephan and Taylor swing by Thomas’ school to drop off some things for their nephew’s school play. They accidentally destroy the costumes and sets and drive the director to quit. All three brothers are ordered to take over the play, which is based on the story of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” They scramble to come up with new sets, new music and dances, as well as bolstering the children’s confidence.
Making matters more complicated, their mother has introduced them to her new boyfriend, Pastor Roy, who’s good at seemingly everything. Luke, Stephan and Taylor aren’t happy about Roy’s presence. They especially feel hurt that he’s invading their family’s Christmas traditions.
As the brothers continue working on the play, they decide they can’t do it alone. So, they call in a friend who quickly takes over. Unhappily, the play starts to get out of control, and the brothers are asked if the show they’re putting on is still really about the spirit of Christmas. After a small fire at the school, it looks like the show won’t go on after all.
