What You Need To Know:

NASCAR 3D: THE IMAX EXPERIENCE is a big screen documentary that transports viewers behind the scenes of stock car racing. Included are today’s top NASCAR drivers, the shops that produce their cars, the teams that keep their cars running, and the fans whose intense devotion fuels the phenomenon. Actor Kiefer Sutherland narrates the 40-minute movie, beginning with the historical roots of NASCAR, or stock car racing, and ending with scenes from various races around the country, including the Winston 500. In between are visits to the shops where the cars are made and a look at the intense pressure the pit crews are under in trying to keep the cars running in tip-top shape.

NASCAR 3D puts viewers in the driver seat, with close-up views in front of and behind the wheel, as drivers jockey for position during actual races, just inches away from other cars. The IMAX big screen visuals, dynamic sound system, and 3D images are perfectly suited to capturing the kinetic energy behind the sport. The movie also includes a positive reference to God and prayer, two things that are absolutely essential if you’re going to participate in such a potentially dangerous sport.

Content:
