FAITH & FORGIVENESS has been in the works for a while now, with Korie Robertson revealing in 2025 that they family was “in talks” about a movie about the couple.
“I’m really excited about that. And, of course, I know y’all’s life story and I’ve lived a lot of it,” Korie said during an episode of the “WHOA That’s Good” podcast. “And I’m so grateful to have gotten to live a lot of it. And to see the impact of y’all’s life on us…just the impact of y’all’s life and your marriage and the impact that had on Willie and our marriage.”
Lisa and Al have been open about the ups and downs of their marriage, including an extramarital affair Lisa had.
“You have to realize that this is a sinful situation. When I was having the affair, I knew it was wrong. I knew it was a sinful situation. But I never really saw myself in the situation until I was able to openly confess the things that I had been doing,” Lisa said in an interview with Cornerstone Chapel Pastor Gary Hamrick.
She continued, “I continue to hold onto that regret because I want that regret to remind me of what I did. But also, I want God’s mercy to remind me of where he brought me from.”
