Country star Ella Langley shared the “drastic” faith journey she has been on over the last year.
“Even though I’ve been a believer in Christ my whole life, my relationship with Him has changed drastically over the last year,” she wrote in a recent Instagram post. “I started to have ‘faith.’ I started to view the days we have been given as a gift instead of a chore.”
Langley continued, “I am so grateful for a God who leads with love and compassion. Thank you Jesus for giving me a way to spend eternity with You.”

The country singer previously spoke about how she has been leaning on her faith as her career takes off.
“I won’t lie, this last week has been probably one of the toughest mental health weeks I’ve had in a long time,” she said in a 2025 interview. “Which is crazy, because so many good things are happening. So many things I’ve prayed for and dreamed about.”
Langley shared that her new focus phrase is “God has [chosen] you,” adding, “I have gotten so close with Him in these past few months.”
The singer is currently experiencing a career high — Langley’s latest single, “Choosin’ Texas,” is celebrating its fifth week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100.
“We love this song,” she said of her and her co-writers in an interview with Billboard. “I don’t know if it’s because it’s a very honest point of view, you know, but I hear a lot of honest songs all the time. I tried to add some groove into this record, big singing choruses and big melodic guitar licks that you can remember. I don’t know if it feels nostalgic or sounds like something they hadn’t heard before.”
Her next album, Dandelion, is set to debut later this week.
“I’m so excited for these new songs,” she told ABC Audio. “We’ve been working so hard on it…I’ve known the title for this record, I mean, over a year now. It’s been like a year and a half.”
Langley continued, “So it’s really been a long process, but [I] wanted to take the time and live a little life in between my records and, you know, kinda grow up a little bit. And, I don’t know, it’s the next chapter of me. It’s not just [as] an artist, but [as] a human.”
As Langley sees major success in the country music industry, she is continuing to lean on her faith.
