Great American Media Celebrates 5 Incredible Years Staying True to Values

It’s only been five years of Great American Media, but the network has already made a name for itself as one of the fastest-growing independent media companies in the country.

“Over the past five years, we have accomplished something few media companies have achieved in today’s marketplace,” Bill Abbott, President & CEO of Great American Media, said in a statement. “We have built a scaled, multi-platform entertainment company with national reach, a loyal audience and a year-round content engine anchored by faith, family and inspirational storytelling. Our success is a testament to knowing our audience, serving them consistently and remaining true to the values that matter most to them.”

In addition to its initial channel, Great American Family, GAM also now includes Great American Faith & Living, Great American Pure Flix, GFAM+ and “an expanding family of digital and FAST channel offerings,” per the press release. 

The company delivers new content every week to viewers, from original movies and series to exciting seasonal events, such as the massively popular Great American Christmas. 

“As the company enters the second half of 2026, Great American Media is poised for its next phase of expansion,” the press release continues. “Five years after its launch, Great American Media stands as a powerful example of what can be achieved through a clear vision, disciplined execution, and an unwavering commitment to serving America’s most passionate audience with stories rooted in faith, family, hope, and joy.”

One of the company’s new and exciting projects? A new 24/7 Great American Christmas channel on GFAM+.

“Great American Media has become a gold standard destination for Christmas enthusiasts by creating one of the most beloved libraries of original holiday programming in all of television,” Abbott said in a statement. “The launch of our new 24/7 Great American Christmas channel on GFAM+ reflects the incredible passion viewers have for the uplifting holiday stories we create year-round.”

 

Abbott recently spoke at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention, where he shared GAM’s mission. 

“In an age where entertainment reflects counter-culture beliefs that marginalize faith and family, Great American Media has developed several platforms in the past five years that truly reflects, showcases, and uplifts the American spirit, as reflected in our title, Great American Media,” he said.  

Abbott admitted, “When you represent faith, family and country, that’s not the most popular place to be in Hollywood” but added, “But the audience demand is undeniable. Viewers want content that strengthens families and reflects their beliefs.”

Great American Media has already achieved so much during its first five years. We can’t wait to see where they go next.
