Jep and Jessica Robertson are heading for the Lonestar state as production begins on the new Great American Family lifestyle series, JEP AND JESS: BEYOND THE BAYOU.
“This new lifestyle series follows the Robertsons on their latest adventure – building out not only neighborhoods, but a thriving Comanche Moon Ranch community rooted in purpose and legacy, and viewers will witness firsthand how vision, hard work, and conviction can transform land into legacy – and neighbors into family,” a post from Great American Family reads.

Fans know the duo from A&E’s DUCK DYNASTY, but the Robertsons will feel “right at home” as they partner with GAM, said Kaitlyn Haubrich, Chief Brand Officer, Great American Media.
“The series isn’t just about them building physical homes; it’s about creating spaces where people led by faith can truly be at home. We believe their journey will uplift hearts and inspire a deeper sense of purpose and community,” Haubrich said.
The Robertsons raved about the 2,300-acre ranch that is located about an hour away from Fort Worth as a “game-changer,” a “place to unplug, get outdoors, and enjoy real freedom-surrounded by wide-open space and solid company.”
“Whether it’s casting a line in the stocked ponds, hunting, setting up camp, or getting a little competitive on the pickleball court, there’s no shortage of ways to make the most of every day out here,” Jep posted on Instagram.
The Robertsons previously lived in Austin to start a food truck, and their oldest daughters Lily and Merritt attended college in Abilene, Texas.
GAM is familiar territory as well as the couple made a cameo appearance in the networks’s project HAVE WE MET THIS CHRISTMAS? in 2025 where they were impressed with the faith shown on set.
“We’ve done a lot of TV stuff, and I’ve just never been around people who do that and also put God first,” Jep said. “It’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is where we need to be.”
“We chose to partner with Great American Media because their values so closely mirror our own. Faith and family are central to our lives, and we are excited to share this new chapter with viewers,” the Robertsons shared. “We hope our journey will inspire everyone to pursue their dreams with a sense of purpose and wholehearted faith both in their own lives and in their communities.”
Jessica said of the whole process developing the ranch to being approached for this new show, “We felt like God opened this door for us.”
JEP AND JESS: BEYOND THE BAYOU is slated to premiere later this year on Great American Family, Great American Pure Flix and Gfam+
