What You Need To Know:
LOST AND DELIRIOUS searches for meaning in life the same way dozens of other movies. Teenagers rebel against authority by spiking punch bowls, smoking, pranks, lusty relationships, etc. The acting was the strongest point in the movie and was probably what kept people staying until the end. Other than that fact, this is just another formulaic teen coming of age film with school girls prancing around in short skirts. Strong foul language and graphic nudity and sexual immorality pervade this tale, which also contains a very negative portrayal of family life.

An award winner at the Sundance Film Festival, LOST AND DELIRIOUS is another teen coming of age flick about romance, uncontrollable sexual desires and general adolescent angst. The twist is that the lead characters are lesbian.
Paulie (Piper Perabo) is a very aggressive and unpredictable troubled orphan at an all-girls boarding school in Canada. She gets involved in an intimate relationship with Victoria (Jessica Pare), as they live together in the girl’s dormitory. The story is told through the eyes of “Mouse” (Mischa Barton), who moves into the girl’s room.
When Mouse first arrives at the school, she really misses her natural mother who died a few years ago. Through the observation of Paulie and Victoria’s relationship, she begins to “open” up to the reality of the world. After Paulie and Victoria break up, Paulie turns into a spurned psychotic stalker. From there, the movie heads into Shakespearean themes and incoherent twists.
