What You Need To Know:
THE LAST KISS is a perfect example of a talented group of actors, a gifted screenwriter who understands his craft and a director who finds beautiful moments of visual story-telling, all coming together and producing a project that has absolutely no moral compass. THE LAST KISS shows the worst indiscretions of our off-the-rack culture. With very strong sexual immorality, explicit nudity and an abundance of strong foul language, THE LAST KISS is a movie that all media-wise people of faith and values will want to avoid.

(PaPaPa, RoRo, ABABAB, HHH, Ho, PC, LLL, V, SSS, NN, AA, DD, MM) Very strong immoral, pagan worldview with elements of Romanticism that extols emotion and passion over reason and commitment, plus very strong anti-biblical and humanist elements that break many of the Ten Commandments and look down on the institution of marriage in the pursuit of self-fulfilling “love,” plus light homosexual and politically correct content; 71 obscenities (most of which are "f" words) and five profanities; mild violence includes one guy getting punched in the stomach and in the nose; extensive sexual content includes several scenes of passionate kissing between unmarried people, unmarried couple is pregnant and living together, two female strippers kiss, unmarried man grabs his girlfriend’s breasts and talks to them, references to female body parts, one scene of implied fornication, three scenes of depicted fornication, a woman grabs a man’s crotch, woman who has been married for 30 years confesses to her husband that she had an affair, and a college girl dances seductively with a man; strong nudity includes several instances of upper female nudity within sexual context, upper male nudity, man in boxers, rear male nudity, rear upper female nudity, two strippers lay on top of one another, a young woman in a wet T-shirt, several instances of female cleavage, and one shot of a newborn’s naked behind; strong alcohol use includes many scenes with alcohol from wine with dinner to champagne, to beer to strong liquor, drunkenness implied and depicted including a party scene with underage college drinking; one scene of drug use and mild cigarette use; and, strong miscellaneous immorality includes living and having a child out of wedlock, lying, adultery, and two obligatory homosexual characters who live next-door to the unmarried couple.

THE LAST KISS is a serious comedy that stars the talented Zach Braff as Michael, a late twenty-something who struggles with the anxieties of becoming a father, getting married and the suffocating feeling of settling into a life where “everything is planned out” and “there are no more surprises.”
Still friends with all his college buddies, Michael and his girlfriend, Jenna, have been living together for years. Now, they are about to celebrate a new milestone in their relationship. No, not marriage: parenthood. Michael tells Jenna that he will marry her when she can show him three couples that have lasted longer than five years. Jenna mentions that her parents have been together for 30 years. That is, until the next day, when Jenna’s mother walks out on her father because there is no passion in their relationship.
Not helping Michael’s crisis is his best friend, Chris (Casey Affleck) who is leaving his wife and their newborn son because marriage and fatherhood just wasn’t all that he had hoped it would be. Then there are Michael’s two other college friends, Izzy (Michael Weston) and Kenny (Eric Christian Olsen), both of whom serve as illustrations of what his life could become if he were to make different choices. Izzy is dealing with his dying father and a recent break-up with his girlfriend, who is now sleeping around to get over him. The free-spirited Kenny is enjoying commitment-free one-night stands with whomever he likes.
That’s when Michael meets Kim (Rachel Bilson), a 20-year-old college student who seems full of life and passion and interest in him. Tempted away from Jenna, he flirts with danger and eventually sleeps with Kim. Afterward, Michael comes to the realization that it is Jenna with whom he wants to spend the rest of his life. However, once Jenna discovers Michael’s indiscretion, he must fight to win her back.

Even though there are some mildly redemptive elements as Michael learns what true “love” is, this movie illustrates the sad state of immoral relationships that the mass media of entertainment propagates on mainstream America, including the obligatory homosexual couple that lives next door to Michael and Jenna.
THE LAST KISS contains strong sexuality that includes people living together and having a child together out of wedlock, fornication depicted, fornication implied, adultery discussed, and explicit nudity. It also has an abundance of strong foul language (mostly “f” words). It is a movie that all media-wise people of faith and values will want to avoid.
