Movieguide® Meets with SING Writer and Director
Movieguide® met Saturday with Garth Jennings, the writer and co-director of Paramount and Illumination Studios new animated movie, SING.
Set in a fantasy world where animals can talk, SING is a joyful, inspiring musical comedy about a down-and-out theater owner who tries to save his beloved theater by putting on a singing competition with five animal acts.
“It’s been an absolute blast,” Jennings said about making the movie, which took five years. “I did what I set out to do, and that’s amazing.”
Jennings and his wife have four children.
