Candace Cameron Bure says she “can’t imagine doing life without” God.

“It’s what faith is,” she said during an appearance on “The Penthouse With Peta” podcast. “It’s believing in something that you cannot feel or see or touch, and yet, when I read the Bible — I mean, that’s my goal in life, to get people to read the Bible. You can decide after whether you believe it or not. But when people discredit or don’t believe in the Bible without having read it, I’m like, ‘Well, have you read it?’”

Bure continued, “The word of God says that it is living and active, and it truly is. You can read things in the Bible one day, and you can read them on — it’s another day, and it’s like the words pop off the page and they speak to you.”

“I know the Bible to be true because I have felt God in my life,” she explained. “And it’s not just about a feeling…the truth of it comes down to [the fact that] I feel, I speak, I have a relationship with God in that way…I just can’t imagine doing life without Him.”

Bure concluded, “I think that when God reveals Himself in someone’s life, it doesn’t have to be a dramatic event, or story, but you know it to be true, and so sometimes it’s hard to explain until you’ve been there…what it comes down to is you just have to experience it.”

The FULL HOUSE actress often speaks about the strong influence her Christian faith has on her life and work in the entertainment industry.

“I know that God is with me at every moment, and I know that to be true because the Bible says He’s omnipresent,” Bure told Woman’s World, adding that she’s “never not had a belief in God.”

“Even if you’re shaking your fist at Him and are mad at Him, or like, ‘why is this happening to me? Or why is this happening to my child?’” she explained. “I think those are all fair and honest questions that anybody can ask God, and He’ll give you answers to them. Sometimes there are things that are still a bit of a mystery that we’re not going to know until we meet Him, but I love that. I can trust Him that He will always have a plan that is good for those who love Him.”

That faith also drives Bure’s humanitarian work, including a recent partnership with the Free Wheelchair Mission, helping to give mobility to those in need.

“My faith guides me in my choices that I make,” she told Fox News in September. “I couldn’t live out my Christian calling without helping those in need,” Bure added. “And I mean, I guess that’s the guiding light for me.”

Bure continued, “It feels so good to give and participate in helping change someone’s life or adding to it, giving them hope, watching their resilience. To let them know that they are loved, and they’re cared for, and they are worthy of being here and being loved by people and especially by God.”

Whether it’s through her work onscreen or in her daily life, Bure’s faith continues to serve as her guiding light.
