Christian artist Katy Nichole is celebrating the release of her holiday EP, The Hope Of Christmas!
“I am so excited to share the track list for ‘The Hope Of Christmas,’ EP !! This was such a fun record to make!!” she wrote in an Instagram caption. “I got to cover some of my all time favorite Christmas songs and even wrote some very special Christmas songs as well.”
The track list includes covers of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Blue Christmas” and “O Come O Come Emmanuel,” as well as original songs “Our King Has Come” and “The Hope Of Christmas.”

Nichole continued, “When I was working on this project, I wanted to incorporate the fun of Christmas, the classic feel of traditional Christmas music, and the hope that is Jesus. When I was choosing these songs I just wanted to remind people that it’s okay if the holiday season is a difficult one — for so many, the holiday season can hurt more than any other time of the year and I wanted to show the reality of that while also highlighting that the hope of Jesus will always shine through.”
“I pray that this EP brings peace and comfort to you this Christmas and that you are reminded that you’re never alone!!” she concluded.
This isn’t the only new music Nichole has recently released. The singer-songwriter just put out her second album, Honest Conversations.
“This record was so therapeutic for me to write. As I was walking through complicated seasons and storms of intense emotions, I had my release by getting to write these songs,” she wrote in an Instagram caption.
Nichole continued, “If you have ever felt misunderstood, I hope these songs make you feel seen, if you have ever felt doubt, I hope this leads you to bring the good, the bad, and everything in between to God, and lastly, I hope these songs feel like a warm hug when you need it the most. Honest conversations with yourself, with God, and with others are the first steps towards healing. Thank you for being part of this journey with me, I pray you find God as you listen to these songs.”
In an interview with CCM Magazine, Nichole shared her hopes for the future, including the possibility of mentoring younger artists.
“I’ve always wanted to help the next generation,” she said. “I’d love to do A&R at a record label someday. Help a young artist figure out their sound. Hopefully I’ll be done with my artist career by then and can champion the next generation…I’d love to mentor a young girl who has the same dreams I’ve had.”
We can’t wait to celebrate this Christmas season with Nichole’s new twists on holiday classics, as well as her original songs!
