Newly crowned Miss Universe, Fátima Bosch, proudly gave glory to Christ after her pageant win.
The 25-year-old Mexican national says her faith is what helped her accomplish this dream.
“Today I reaffirmed that what God has destined for you, neither envy stops it, nor destiny aborts it, nor luck challenges it. Long live Christ the king,” she said in a post after she was crowned, per PEOPLE.

Bosch faced some controversy in the competition on Nov. 4.
Pageant executive Nawat Itsaragrisil claimed Bosch failed to “promote the host country” of Thailand on social media.
When she tried to deny the claims, he called her a “dummy” in front of an audience. She stood up and left, saying, “I have a voice. You are not respecting me as a woman.” Other contestants stood and followed her in support.
“As women, you need to show respect for us. I’m here representing a country, and it’s not my fault that you have problems with my organization,” Bosch added.
A Miss Universe judge, Omar Harfouch, also took issue with Bosch. He resigned just days before the finale, saying that Bosch’s family tried to sway his vote.
“Miss Mexico is a Fake winner. I Omar Harfouch declared yesterday exclusively on the Americain HBO, 24 hours before the Miss Universe final, that Miss Mexico would win — because Miss Universe owner Raúl Rocha is in business with Fatima Bosch’s father,” he said in a statement.
The following day, Miss USA, Noelia Voight, praised Bosch for her actions.
“I stand in full solidarity with Fátima Bosch, Vi[c]toria Kjær Theilvig, and all of the incredible women who walked out yesterday in protest of the unacceptable treatment that occurred at the Miss Universe 2025 Orientation in Thailand,” she said. “When I woke up yesterday morning and saw the video circulating across the internet showing what happened, I was shocked, disgusted, disappointed, and genuinely horrified. As someone who served as Miss USA 2023 and later made the decision to step away from my title, I understand what it feels like when your voice is dismissed and your dignity is demeaned.”
“… And there is absolutely no place for treating human beings—especially those representing their nations with bravery and grace—with anything less than dignity, respect, and equity.”
Bosch says that her win was God’s will.
The model, who is of the Catholic faith, previously said, “I believe God helps shape our journey. I had been receiving invitations since 2019, and now in 2025, the stars have finally aligned, allowing me to participate.”
It’s incredible to see someone like Bosch use her platform for God’s glory.
