Actor Jesse Hutch encourages us to follow God’s plan, no matter what others might say.
“If you need to ditch a habit and pick up the Bible or pick up prayer or start — grab a guitar and worship the Lord in your own time, in your own way; do it, because you gotta start somewhere,” he said during an episode of 100 HUNTLEY STREET. “And that faith will grow, and eventually you’ll make bolder choices. And by bolder, I mean they’ll be more aligned with God’s vision for your life.”
Hutch acknowledged that “sometimes we do have to go against the grain” when we follow that vision but urged people to do it, even if it feels uncomfortable.
“We’re going to have to do what feels wrong, and even to the people who love you,” he explained. “Sometimes when God says go, even the ones who love you can say, ‘No, no no, that’s a stay.’ You gotta be obedient to one voice only, and that’s it.”
Hutch concluded, “That’s going to be your struggle. Get rid of the noise so you can hear the one voice so that you know who to follow, so you know where to go, and you can lead yourself and your family.”
The actor has plenty of projects in the works, including Angel Studios’ HOMESTEAD Season 2, which began production earlier this year.
“HOMESTEAD has captivated audiences worldwide with its bold and uplifting vision of the post-apocalyptic genre,” Jordan Harmon, the president of Angel, told The Hollywood Reporter. “The stellar cast, fueled by the unwavering support of our Angel Guild, has not only has allowed us to greenlight the completion of season one but also secured an early greenlight for season two, ensuring fans can dive back into the story sooner than ever.”
Hutch was also recently confirmed as a cast member in upcoming romantic comedy CONNECTION PENDING…
“Set in the 1990s, CONNECTION PENDING… follows a shy Tennessee computer programmer (Chris Guerra) and a free-spirited internet café worker (Kelsey Cooke) who embark on an impulsive cross-country road trip to meet a mysterious AOL crush — only for misunderstandings, nostalgia, and an unexpected lie to turn their journey into something deeper, funnier, and unexpectedly romantic,” a description of the movie reads.
Hutch’s words are a reminder of the importance of sticking to God’s plan, no matter how much others try to sway you from it.
