Christian Funnyman Jim Gaffigan Lands Second Comedy Special

Christian funnyman Jim Gaffigan’s second comedy special, JIM GAFFIGAN: THE PALE TOURIST will release on Amazon Prime on July 24, 2020.
Deadline reported, “The two-part stand-up special was filmed on location in Ontario, Canada and Barcelona, Spain, as part of Gaffigan’s The Pale Tourist worldwide tour in which he traveled the world — in each country meeting people, eating the food and learning a bit about the history.”
In the meantime, Gaffigan plans to continue his comedy tour throughout the summer.
Although Movieguide® has yet to see THE PALE TOURIST, we’re optimistic it will showcase Christian elements.
Gaffigan’s last Amazon comedy special, JIM GAFFIGAN: QUALITY TIME, highlighted aspects of his Christian faith.
According to Movieguide®’s review, “[QUALITY TIME has a] strong Christian, biblical worldview presented as Gaffigan discusses prayer, God’s judgment on Sin City, and a description of Jesus based on a DaVinci painting.”
Gaffigan’s wife, Jeannie is a comedian too and a cancer survivor. The two leaned on their faith and humor to get them through trying waters.
