‘God is So Good’: Lawson and Tiffany Bates Expecting Baby After Miscarriage

By Movieguide® Contributor

BRINGING UP BATES star Lawson Bates and wife Tiffany are expecting a baby after experiencing a miscarriage.

“Baby Bates coming early Summer 2024,” the couple posted on Instagram, along with a sweet video of them at the beach, showing off a sonogram of the baby.

Their caption continued, “God is so good and we are so grateful for our little miracle.”

Lawson and Tiffany also released a vlog about the pregnancy announcement, writing, “Praising the Lord for our rainbow baby miracle!”

Last year, the couple shared that Tiffany had suffered a miscarriage. Movieguide® previously reported:

BRINGING UP BATES’ Lawson Bates and wife Tiffany announced they recently suffered a miscarriage.

“We were expecting our first baby. We’ve never been more happy in our lives,” Tiffany posted in an Instagram video. “Our loved ones were so excited with us.”

She continued, “After unexpected cramping and spotting, we went to the ER. After hours of pain and ultrasounds, the doctor confirmed a miscarriage. We have never been more heartbroken. We continue to lean on God for peace [and] strength as we know God is still good.”

Tiffany elaborated in the caption, writing, “Our hearts have never been more broken. As we take time to grieve, we continue to praise the Lord for all His blessings, including our miracle baby. God is still good. We can’t wait to hold our baby one day! We’ve read all of your comments and are so encouraged by your kindness. The stories you’ve shared with us about your personal journeys have truly touched our hearts, we are praying for you!”

The couple often share messages of faith on their social media pages. A recent post from Tiffany shared her adoption story.

“Every single family is created by God, but God doesn’t create every family the same or in the same way,” she wrote. “Every child, no matter where they came from, are all equal in the eyes of the Lord, as we ourselves are adopted sons and daughters of Jesus Christ.”
