A THOUSAND TOMORROWS Stars Grateful to Share Faith in Hollywood

By Movieguide® Staff

A THOUSAND TOMORROWS stars Rose Reid and Colin Ford shared that they’re grateful the project let them share their faith in Hollywood.

“In Hollywood, it’s kind of tricky to share your faith. And it’s kind of tricky to talk about that. So I really appreciate Great American Pure Flix and places like the Movieguide® Awards that allow you to come and speak about your faith and be very open about it and be respected for it,” Reid told Movieguide®.

Ford said he’s grateful “to do a project that I feel like spreads God’s message a little bit further,” adding it’s “truly a blessing.”

A THOUSAND TOMORROWS is up for Movieguide®’s Epiphany Prize® for Most Inspiring TV or Streaming Movie or Program and the Best Television for Families award.

For their roles in the show, both Ford and Reid have been nominated for the Grace Prize® for Most Inspiring Performance for TV.

Reid opened up about getting to play barrel racer Ali Daniels. “When I had the opportunity to portray her, I really thought it was just such a such a God thing because that kind of character doesn’t come around very often. But I think she’s very inspiring,” she said.

“It was incredible,” Ford, who plays bull rider Cody Gunnar, said of the role. “As an actor, the coolest thing is getting to step into new roles and new environments. And I had been to a couple of rodeos before but only as a spectator and to kind of step into it as someone who’s jumping on the back of a bull, it was a whole other experience.”

Ford and Reid will be in the Movieguide® Awards Broadcast on GAF on March 7 at 8 p.m. ET.
