NOWHERE is a series of short events which depict a group of loveless multi-racial teenagers who exist in a libertine world called “pop culture.” Troubled, insecure, doubtful, and rebellious, they experiment with every taboo descending in an ever spiraling decline into decadence. Its all in a “typical” teenagers day: multiple sexual partners, self-abasement, self-hate, drug abuse, self-mutilation, and suicide to name just a few. It is an endless orgy of perversity leading to hopeless broken lives. This Los Angeles based “plot” portrays BEVERLY HILLS 90210 characters on acid with a Twin Peaks” twist and alien abductions threaded into the 85 minute compilation of darkness.

The movie’s dark characters and events showcase the obscene, perverse and irreverent. In addition to the aforementioned atrocities, there is also lying self-mutilation and self-harm. If this depravity were not enough, the film is sporadically peppered with television evangelist, Moses Helper (John Ritter) who can be reached by calling 1-800-GO-JE$U$. His “inspirational” messages convince teenagers on the edge to “go to heaven” via suicide. NOWHERE is obscene, profane, poorly written, badly directed, and terribly edited with jump-cuts everywhere and. This film leaves one cold as it lacks the most important element of life: love.
