DUCK DYNASTY Star Has Only This in Common With Friend Tim Tebow

DUCK DYNASTY star Jase Robertson has only one thing in common with his friend, former NFL star Tim Tebow.

“We have an odd friendship, I told you, [we have] nothing in common except Jesus, but I learned with my wife that’s really enough, that that’s all you need,” Robertson said on the “Unashamed” podcast.

Pastor Joby Martin joined the Robertson crew on the podcast. He leads The Church of Eleven22 in Jacksonville, Florida, where Tebow and his family attend.

“Tim and Demi go to our church, and Tim’s parents do, and I honestly think one of the reasons he asked me to play a discipleship role in his life maybe starting 10 years ago or something is because I’m such an avid dog fan,” Martin joked. “He is the literal best dude. He loves Jesus. I’ve never seen somebody leverage their platform for the Kingdom like that, like that man. So yeah, it’s an honor.”

Tebow certainly does use his platform to further God’s Kingdom. Through his foundation, he pursues “the vision of finding, reaching, and fighting for the Most Vulnerable People in every country worldwide, while sharing with them about the God who created them in His own image and who loves them with a perfect and lasting love.”

Recently, he supported legislation that would help exploited children, as Movieguide® reported:

To do this, the former NFL star joined a bipartisan group of lawmakers earlier this week to unveil the Renewed Hope Act of 2024.

“The legislation would enhance the ability of U.S. Immigration and Customs and Enforcement and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to rescue exploitation victims and identify predators,” the Christian Post reported. “The measure aims to provide the agencies with the resources to hire and train personnel and equip them with advanced victim identification methods.”

“Their pain must stir us to act,” Tebow wrote. “This is why we’re calling on Congress to pass legislation to strengthen our nation’s response to identifying and rescuing these boys and girls.”

“The biblical form of Hope means to look forward with confidence, expectation, and anticipation,” Tebow said in another post. “I believe the ‘Renewed Hope Act of 2024’ to combat child sexual exploitation is going to do just that: give hope to kids, to protect them, to love them, and to show them Faith, Hope and Love in their darkest hour of need.”
