THE VOICE contestant Max Chambers took a bold step of faith this past week when he covered Forrest Frank’s song, “YOUR WAY’S BETTER.”

Frank shared the clip of Chambers version on his social media page and said, “Got chills when he said that at the end.”

At the end of Chambers’ performance, THE VOICE judge Michael Buble said, “It’s bold to be open about your faith. You know how many people are watching at home that might be shy to share theirs? And the fact that you just did that, thank you.”

“Thank you for sharing that Forrest 🙏. The Buble family loves you and your music so so much. Literally our fave…. Was an honor to witness @maxchambers318and his wonderful interpretation,” Buble also said int he comments section of Frank’s post.

Chambers, who is only 14, finished the singing competition in fifth place. A feat that is impressive at his age.

In a press release from NBC, Buble reflected on what the show means for these contestants and their future.

“This is about the Artists, for the Artists. It’s not about us [Coaches]. We love being here. We love being part of the process. There’s a reason why we’ve come and gone, and the people in the red seats change, but the show stays successful. It’s because they’ve made sure they are so protective of the Artists. And that’s the legacy of the show,” he said.

In his frist year of coaching, Buble revealed what was the most difficult but rewarding parts.

“My favorite part about it was when I had to let people go for the first time, I was upset about it,” he said. “Until I realized that their lives had changed. Until I realized that their careers had started. They started to create a business that could go on.

“Their socials have grown. I didn’t realize at the time because I had thought of this as an end-goal thing,” he reflected before adding, “just from being on this massive television program that has seven to 11 million people watching all over the planet.”

Prior to the final results being released, Chambers took to social media to make one more push for voting purposes.

“America!!! Before going to sleep, I had to take the time to thank you and remind you to vote to help me become the youngest winner of The Voice! You voted me back in as one of your wild cards and I’m so grateful! I hope you stick with me! Let’s vote and win this!” the 14-year-old wrote.

Chambers put his faith in full display this week when he covered Forrest Frank’s hit song, “YOUR WAY’S BETTER.” Chambers took a bold step and coach Buble even recognized the courage it takes to do that, espcially at a young age.
