On Tuesday evening, Hulk Hogan’s family and friends gathered for his funeral at a local church in Florida — the same church where he was baptized in December 2023.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, died from a sudden myocardial infarction at his home in Clearwater, Florida, on July 24 at the age of 71.

Several stars attended the service at Indian Rocks Church, including WWE legend Paul “Triple H” Levesque and WWE former co-CEO Stephanie McMahon, as well as Kid Rock, Bam Margera and more.

President Donald Trump, who couldn’t attend, shared a photo of him and Hogan arm wrestling on Truth Social.

“They are having the ‘Hulkster’s’ funeral today, and I thought everybody would enjoy seeing this picture,” Trump wrote.

Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily Hogan, shared a heartfelt message on social media regarding the celebration of life.

“Yesterday’s celebration of life was one of the most beautiful and moving days I have ever experienced,” she wrote. “In the same church where we were married and baptized together, we gathered with family, friends, and loved ones to honor a life that touched millions. The church was filled with stories…some that brought tears, others that made us laugh through those tears…and with every memory shared, you could feel the love that surrounded him.”

Sky also revealed that Hogan chose to be cremated because he knew “this physical life is temporary and his heavenly body eternal.”

The WWE star’s death came as a surprise to many, including his wife.

“He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time,” she wrote on social media shortly after his death.

But despite the sudden heartbreak, Sky knows that her husband was a true believer in the Lord, and she can “take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home.”

Hogan and Sky were baptized together 18 months before his death.

“Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life,” he wrote in a social media post announcing his baptism. “No worries, no hate, no judgment…only love.”

He spoke of his faith the April before, saying, “I accepted Christ as my savior at 14 yrs old and the training, prayers, and vitamins kept me in the game but now that I am one with God.”

“The main event theme of surrender, service, and love makes me the Real Main Event that can slam any giant of any size through the power of my Lord and Savior and so it is, even now brother, AMEN!” Hogan declared.

While the wrestling legend’s family, friends and fans are still mourning his death, they rejoice knowing he’s finally with his savior.
