HGTV officially renewed its smash hit renovation competition ROCK THE BLOCK for a seventh season, set to premiere in early 2026.

This season, the network will pair its established designers with celebrities who also share a passion for design.

Ty Pennington will continue as the show’s host. Season 7 will also feature the likes of real estate contractor Scott McGillivray, who will partner with Brooke Hogan, Taniya Nayak, joined by Drew Lachey, designer Kim Wolfe, who will team up with Chelsea Meissner, and Mina Starsiak Hawk with actor and NFL Star Vernon Davis.

The teams will each have $275,000 and six weeks to make their project the most beautiful home on the block. The homes which are in Law Vegas include “private courtyards, multi-generational suites and RV garages.”

“ROCK THE BLOCK is a standout performer on HGTV’s slate, attracting millions in our key demos and holding the #1 spot on the network for four years straight,” said Howard Lee, Chief Creative Officer, US Networks, Warner Bros. Discovery. “And we find new ways to amp up the competition, the drama and the fun every season, so we know our fans will keep coming back.”

Pennington is thrilled to be back.

“What I love about ROCK THE BLOCK is that every show on TV these days has a tight budget because everyone’s trimming the fat, but ROCK THE BLOCK is the one where they’re like, ‘All right, let’s double it; let’s make this as big [as possible]’—it’s [HGTV’s] Super Bowl,” he told Country Living.

HGTV fans are glad to see ROCK THE BLOCK didn’t land on HGTV’s chopping block after a flurry of cancelations earlier this year rocked stars and viewers alike.

MARRIED TO REAL ESTATE, IZZY DOES IT, FARMHOUSE FIXER, BARGAIN BLOCK, BATTLE ON THE BEACH, CHRISTINA ON THE COAST and THE FLIPPING EL MOUSSAS all got the axe.

Alison Victoria of BATTLE ON THE BEACH previously addressed the cancelation of her show.

“I did a show called BATTLE ON THE BEACH. I love that show. It was so fun and funny,” she said. “And then all of a sudden, I watched the episode, I’m like, well, where’d all that [great content] go? I get it, it’s a lot of content to try to put into 42 minutes, but where is it? Where’s the great editing?”

She added, “You’ll lose a show that way. I truly believe that. BATTLE ON THE BEACH did not get picked back up, which is sad, because it was like adult spring break.”

ROCK THE BLOCK doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet.
