ROCK THE BLOCK star Ty Pennington recently clarified that he is not leaving HGTV amid recent show cancelations on the network.

Fans were confused after his lates Insta post, which showed Pennington on the Brooklyn bridge with a suitcase.

“A quiet place ✨ #findingsolitudeinthecity,” Pennington captioned the post on Friday.

Some fans interpreted it as a sign he was leaving HGTV.

“Ty come back boi we need you lol! Don’t you pack up and leave us all up in here. You need to come back and remodel somethin!” one fan wrote. “We love you! My husband said come on son bring it!”

Pennington replied, “I’m not leavin! I just travel light 😂.”

Another fan said, “Ty … I can’t put into words about HGTV … they took your show and replaced it with the same show…. you have a fan base for years… Where one door closes more will open…For now rest… enjoy some free time.. This is far from over.”

“It’s definitely not over 🤗😉,” the star replied.

On his Instagram story Saturday, Pennington said, “I fear I may have unknowingly confused some people with my post yesterday 🙈. To be clear, it’s just a photo- no hidden meaning and despite what you might have heard recently, I am still in fact with @hgtv and very much look forward to start filming again in September 🤗🎥 #stillkickin.”

The project he will work on in September is unknown.

Pennington commented on Egypt Sherrod’s post about MARRIED TO REAL ESTATE’s cancellation.

“You know, in general I thought I had decent gauge about what TV executives wanted and the last few years have completely shattered that,” Pennington wrote. “Seriously shocked to hear this! Ya’ll are true professionals and I especially loved the designs from the last season 🙌 Keeping doing you 🙏🏼❤️ Onward and upward!”

Pennington starred in BATTLE ON THE BEACH with Alison Victoria and Taniya Nayak for four seasons

Victoria says she thinks the show was canceled because humorous moments weren’t kept in the show.

“I believe it was all editing. You have it, use it,” she said. “Be funny, use the funny, go with us on that journey because it’s most likely going to resonate with the viewer.”

Parade Home & Garden reported that HGTV is introducing new shows that have or will premiere this month, including CHASING THE WEST, CELEBRITY IOU and ZILLOW GONE WILD.

Only time will tell what’s actually ahead for HGTV and its stars.
