Christian Rapper Project Pat shared that he has led over 30,000 people in a prayer of acceptance this year as he celebrated how the Lord is using him to transform the lives of many.
“Atlanta One Fest yesterday God used us in a mighty way. So many people prayed a prayer of salvation (at least over 15 thousand was there) IDK how many prayed. God got us finishing strong this year,” the rapper shared on in Instagram post. “So far this year we have witnessed over 30,000 have given the[ir] lives to Jesus. Praise God! ‘A man that wins souls is wise’ All Glory be to God.”

This amazing accomplishment comes as the Lord has made his name known through rap for years now, redeeming a genre that has its roots in many anti-Biblical themes. Christian rappers like KB and Lecrae have not only garnered large audiences through their music, but have also used their platforms to warn their fans about allowing this immoral music to penetrate their hearts.
“I don’t know #playboicarti I do know he’s talented and has a huge fan base,” Lecrae wrote in 2021 after Playboicarti shared a photo of himself laying inside a pentagram. “I’m not sure what’s happening here. The pentagram is generally symbolic of black magic, and occultism.”
“Now of course, there’s nothing wrong with a star, and the pentagram itself contains no inherent power. It has been used in many ways by many different cultures, including Christianity,” he added. “But what is he trying to communicate here? If I’m generous I think artists do this to be rebellious and for shock value. Some may actually be pushing evil.”
Meanwhile, Project Pat is a part of a new generation of Christian rappers who continue to push the genre as they spread the Gospel.
As a whole, Christian music has broken into the mainstream as of late, through the work or artists like Forrest Frank who are bringing the message of hope to millions through music that sounds like its mainstream counterparts.
“When I was growing up, I didn’t necessarily have cool Christian music to listen to,” Frank explained earlier this year. “If I was going to the gym or if I was at the beach, it seemed like there weren’t really any Christian songs that would fit those facets of life, but there was great Christian music within the church and for worship. That actually kind of broke my heart; I would cry about it, and I’m not the most emotional guy.”
“So, I aspired to make Christian music that I think is cool. Not everyone’s going to like it, but I think it does serve a role in the sense of it being music that kids think is cool and want to have as their baseball walk-up song when they go up to the plate and listen to when they hang out with their friends,” he said.
It is amazing how these artists are connecting with a new fanbase and helping them find the Lord through their music. Praise the Lord for the 30,000 people who have given their life to Christ because of Project Pat.
