Theo Von, a popular and comical podcast host, is deeping his faith with the help of … Morgan Wallen?
In a discussion with clean comedian Leanne Morgan, Von shared more: “I’m gonna see him tomorrow, Bible study, actually. I think he’s gonna end up preaching that little thing, you know?”
Now what do a podcast host and country musician read for their Bible study?
“Is it a Beth Moore? What’re y’all studying?” Morgan asked.
Von responded, “I mean, tomorrow, I think we’re watching a movie, but it is Bible Study, yeah. I’m not sure what chapter we’re on at the moment.”
Morgan also has a history with the musician, as the two initally met when Wallen left THE VOICE.
“He had mowing equipment and we got both got asked to do a charity thing. I think they paid us $200. If they paid us anything, I can’t remember. He sang and we were in the back and I promised him a casserole because I thought he was so sweet and darling,” Morgan told Von.

She continued, “He goes, ‘I’m going to try to make it in country music’ and I thought, ‘how’s that little thing going to go?’ And not that I didn’t think he was talented.”
After their discussion, Von took to Instagram to thank Morgan for their interview.

Von and Wallen’s pursuit of God is reflective of culture at large recently, with several celebrities opening up about their growing faith.
Jelly Roll is one who has become more vocal about his faith.
Previously he said, “I might wear it a little different than other people. I might say things that other Christians don’t think are right to say, but ultimately, I have a heart for God, and I have a heart for Jesus.”
Even the Kardashians have talked about attending Bible studies.
Previously, Kourtney Kardashian-Barker said, “I’ve been trying to ask some of our friends out that live near us to do a Bible study. We were raised with a Christian father and mother who both modeled such beautiful relationships with Jesus.”
It is encouraging to see even celebrities growing closer to God despite living in a world of fame.
