GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY star Chris Pratt honors American services members this Veterans Day — including his brother, Cully.

“Happy #VeteransDay to all the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform,” Pratt posted on Instagram. “Special shout out to my bother Cully, and so many of my cousins and uncles, you inspire me. May we never take your service for granted. Today and every day we honor you and every Veteran!”

Honoring veterans isn’t anything new for the actor. He celebrated Cully’s service in 2019, too.

“This is my older brother Cully. #happyveteransday I always wanted to be exactly like him,” Pratt wrote. “We were the same size despite our three year difference in age so as a kid I would wear the same clothes he wore, literally the day after he wore them- picking them up off the floor in his room. What can I say? He knew how to match and I liked the smell.”

“I say all this to point out that he’s a real person,” he added. “And the more we can look at our veterans for who they are, actual people, with siblings and parents, with children and funny pasts- the more we can approach our relationships to them with compassion and understanding.”

“We have the greatest armed forces the world has ever seen. It’s made up of real people who joined for myriad reasons. Brave men and women who sacrifice a whole hell of a lot. Today is their day. So celebrate a veteran today,” he concluded his 2019 post.

The actor often recognizes those who serve our country. Last year, he worked on a documentary called FIGHTING SPIRIT: A COMBAT CHAPLAIN’S JOURNEY which looked at the impact chaplains have on our nation’s heroes.

“The work done by combat chaplains to support our soldiers through issues of life and death on the frontlines is truly extraordinary, and to be part of celebrating this story of a chaplain’s journey in such a cinematic way is an honor,” the TERMINAL LIST star said at the time of its release.

Other Hollywood and entertainment stars are honoring veterans.

FORREST GUMP star Gary Sinise uses his foundation to serve service members and their families, adapting to whatever needs arise.

“When the foundation was launched, it was in the middle of the Iraq conflict. We still had many, many service members in Iraq. It was when the battles were raging. We still have many service members in Afghanistan now. So we were dealing with active duty, line of duty deaths. We were dealing with a lot of wounded coming home,” he told Fox News Digital.

“Those needs have shifted somewhat, but yet, within the veteran community, there are always going to be ways that we can support,” he added.

Great American Family actress Candace Cameron Bure posted, “Home of the free because of the brave! Thank you Veterans of past, present, and future,” alongside John 15:13.

Rising Christian/country singer Anne Wilson wrote, “Today we honor the brave men and women who’ve served and sacrificed for our freedom.”

“I’m so thankful for every veteran and their families, your courage and faith inspire me every day. May we never take for granted the cost of the freedom we get to live in,” she concluded.

Let’s remember and honor those who sacrificed to preserve the freedoms we enjoy in the United States today.
