Did you know there is an Easter egg in every episode of FIXER TO FABULOUS? The show’s host Jenny Marrs revealed fans will see a little brass mouse if they look close enough!
“I was going through photos of the season to bring you a post about styling tips. I love a ‘moment’ — where you combine something vintage, with a plant or a wood piece for warmth, styled alongside the perfect piece of art,” she began an Instagram post explaining the tradition.
“If you recognize the first two photos, these were taken in the living room of CampoSasso in Italy. Yes, our brass mouse is Italian. He was found by my very dear friend and faithful styling partner-in-crime, Kim, in an antique shop in Florence. Kim loved him so much (how could you not? He’s adorable) that she bought him with her own money so she could keep him after the final reveal (rather than the decor budget for the home). Now, he’s back in the states and gracing bookshelves because…he just makes us all smile.”

Marrs added, “Can you spot him? Challenge: rewatch all of our episodes (since season 5) and try to find him hidden somewhere in the home on reveal day ☺️🐭!”
People in the comment section appreciated the sweet revelation.
“Haha! I love this. My hubby and I always play, ‘spot the mouse’ when we watch! I usually win,” one fan said. Another added, “I love that mouse!! Now I have to find him in all the reveals!!!”
As Season 7 airs, Marrs reflected on the difficult season she and her family went through last year while filming. They experienced several deaths including Dave’s mother, a family friend and their dog.
A recent episode included Marrs and her husband Dave’s 20th anniversary celebration, which came shortly after their friend Mr. Bob died.
“God instructs us to ‘Celebrate and Remember’ in the 13th chapter of Exodus and that’s what we did last night,” she wrote, sharing how they’ve been processing grief. “We remembered the two giddy kids who vowed to love one another through both the hard and happy times twenty years ago. We remembered all that God has done for us and through us over the past two decades. We remembered His immense blessings and we renewed our sacred vows from a place of gratitude for time-weathered and life-tested steadfast love.”
Marrs continued, “The thing about grief is it’s tricky. You can be so very sad and miss someone so deeply and you can also make room for joy and celebration. This morning, I’m holding all of it and praising the One who made sure that a boy in Colorado would meet a girl in Florida and that they would go on to build an abundant life together in Arkansas. This life can be so hard and so beautiful, and I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone other than Dave.”
