Coming to your local theater October 23 is a movie that I can only call the most horrific movie ever seen. It’s called ANTICHRIST, and it’s filled with a wicked worldview, vile pornographic scenes, onscreen mutilation of private parts, and some other material which I simply cannot describe to you in a family publication.
We cannot stop this movie, but we have a strategy which we believe will be the next best thing.
We are petitioning the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the people who hand out the ratings on movies, to rate this despicable movie what it deserves: NC-17.
This rating will keep it out of many of your neighborhood cinemas. Whereas, if they deem it to be R-rated, not only will any theater take the movie, any person 17 years of age or over is allowed to see its gruesome, disturbing content. Not rating it would be even worse because any age child could see it.
Please join us in protecting your children and grandchildren by signing the petition today. We must get the message to the MPAA before the rating decision is made. Please sign the petition HERE.
As you know, we are continuing to advocate for the eyes of the innocent with the MPAA. We are encouraging them to move to a standards based system instead of a sliding scale system. The MPAA is not a watchdog group, but rather is owned by the six major entertainment studios and needs to be held accountable for its actions.
ANTICHRIST is a movie starring only two people, Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg. Many will remember Dafoe as the villain in the SPIDER-MAN movies as well as the role of Jesus in the blasphemous THE LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIST back in 1988.
The director Lars von Trier seems to have been attempting to prove that there is evil in the world. However, he has chosen to do so in a terribly vile manner with images and a story that are truly horrifying.
Please stand with us to help get this movie rated what it deserves and therefore limit its release and exposure in your neighborhood. We must move quickly. Please click here and sign the petition.
