Muslims Slaughter 200 Christians in Nigeria

Friday, March 12, 2010

“Islamic extremists,” aka practicing Muslims following the Koran’s “Shariah Law,” slaughtered at least 200 Christians Sunday morning in three villages near Jos, Nigeria.

Also, about 75 homes were burned down, confirmed Information Commissioner Gregory Yeniong in the mostly Christian state of Plateau. Rampaging Muslim herdsmen from a neighboring state, carrying machetes, hacked to death hundreds of Christians, including many women and children.

About 3,000 people have fled from the area of the violence, aid officials said Thursday.

Twelve states in Northern Nigeria have enacted strict Muslim Law from the Koran and the Hadith. Northern Nigeria is ranked No. 27 on this year’s Open Doors World Watch List of the worst persecutors of Christians.

Where is the Muslim community concerning such outrages? Or, are they too busy violently protesting some silly cartoons published in a newspaper?
