Fox News channel hosts Ainsley Earhardt and Sean Hannity are ready to tie the knot.

“Hannity proposed to Earhardt over Christmas at their home church, solidifying their long-term commitment to each other,” Fox News reported. “The newly engaged couple had the blessing and support from their children, who ‘couldn’t be happier,’ according to the couple.”

“We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives,” Earhardt and Hannity said.

As two believers, the duo originally bonded through their faith. They’ve put God first in their relationship, which is why their home church was the “perfect place” for Hannity to kneel on one knee.

“While the two prefer to keep their private lives out of the spotlight, they have made their long-distance relationship work with weekend trips between New York, where Earhardt is based, and Florida, where Hannity resides,” Fox reported. “With a mutual respect for each other’s careers, both Hannity and Earhardt have long-term deals to remain at FOX News Media, where Earhardt will continue to co-host FOX & FRIENDS from New York while the primetime star will continue to host his eponymous show HANNITY from Florida.”

Both of the Fox stars were married before and “still get along well” with their exes. They say “everyone is supportive of each other.”

“We actually made them aware this was happening ahead of time,” they said.

Earhardt says the relationship she has with her ex-husband in raising their daughter “works seamlessly.”

Last month, Earhardt told The Conservateur that she found someone who helps her grow in her walk with God.

The divorcee said, “We share the same faith, and we talk for hours sitting in front of a fireplace, in our swivel chairs with our Bibles…I feel like God redeemed me and fixed that broken road. And I wasn’t sure if that would ever happen.”

Hannity is a longtime Fox veteran, as he’s been with the channel for 28 years. He’s had the best-rated program in his timeslot for the last 15 years and is the longest-running cable news host ever, according to Fox. Hannity also has a hit radio show and recently started a new Fox show called SEAN. In it, he performs long-form interviews with celebrities. Just this month he interviewed Sylvester Stallone and his wife. Hannity also hosted Fox’s annual PATRIOT AWARDS, which honors veterans for their service.

“Earhardt joined the network in 2007 and has served as co-host of FOX & FRIENDS since 2016. The popular 3-hour morning show has been No. 1 for more than 20 consecutive years,” Fox reported. “Author of four New York Times bestsellers, including three No. 1 children’s books, Earhardt also hosts AINSLEY’S BIBLE STUDY on FOX Nation. Earlier this year, she was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters degree from the University of South Carolina for her professional achievements in broadcast news and as an author.”

Earhardt shared previously that as a college student, her decision to be a journalist was closely tied to her developing relationship with God.

“I was pursuing a career I felt God was leading me into, and more importantly I was beginning my walk with Jesus, which is the most important decision I’ve ever made,” Earhardt said.

“When I got the job with Fox, I said ‘God, are you sure?’ I know nothing about politics, I’ve been covering car accidents and street closures and the pothole patrol in my hometown,” she said.

But she trusted God and believes he placed her where she needed to be.
