Actress Looking Forward to ‘New Adventures
By Movieguide® Contributor
Actress Jen Lilley is ready for her next chapter.
Lilley has worked with Great American Family for the last four years but did not renew her exclusive contract after it expired in January.
“2024 has been a year of non-exclusivity and new adventures,” the actress told Heavy. “You know, it’s been a real turning point for me in my life.”
Lilley still has plenty of fun projects lined up, and she’s not saying goodbye to GAF just yet.
“I had to start a spreadsheet in order to keep track of all the projects that keep falling into my lap,” Lilley told Heavy.
With Christmas right around the corner, Lilley will be a welcome sight as feel-good holiday movies begin to pepper GAF’s lineup.
She’s part of the cast of A LITTLE WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS, part of the network’s upcoming holiday programming.
“A LITTLE WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS is a new Christmas classic in the making, with an incredible ensemble cast and an adaptation of an original story that is one of the best I have read,” Great American Media president and CEO Bill Abbott told Variety. “Louisa May Alcott was intentional about focusing on the culture of young women, their hopes, ambitions, and dreams, and it remains one of the most widely read and beloved stories ever written.”

Filming for Great American Family’s upcoming holiday movie, A LITTLE WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS, has finally wrapped up!
Actress Laura Osnes shared the news in an Instagram post.
“THAT’S A WRAP! ?,” she began. “A week ago today @jen_lilley, @juliagracereilly, @kylekupecky, and I picture-wrapped #ALittleWomensChristmas, as @jillianmurrayofficial & @trevordonovan charged on two more days with director @brandonclarkfilms and our fabulous crew.”
She continued, “It was such a treasure to film right here on our home turf in Franklin, TN. Here are a few magical moments from our final day on set together. ??????? Can’t wait to bring you this beloved story this Christmas!”
Lilley also revealed that she is shuttering her Christmas Is Not Canceled organization, but that doesn’t mean she’s putting an end to her philanthropic endeavors. She recently partnered with Toys For Tots to support children in the foster care system year-round.
“[This] means a lot to me because I will tell you that, you know, people who are in foster care for the right reasons, 50% of them burn out within the first year. I almost burned out,” Lilley said in an Instagram video. “I was totally in it for the right reasons, you know. Thank goodness I was able to adopt two of my children out of foster care.”
“So my heart was always in it, but foster care is so emotionally and mentally and spiritually and physically exhausting beyond what people can understand, and so when you all come alongside people who are in foster care, whether it’s the children or the resource parents or even the families whose children are in care, you’re making a profound impact,” she continued. “It’s so much more than just putting on a fun event. It’s a ripple effect.”
