Angel Studios is bringing in spring with lots of new shows and movies.
“Since reaching our goal of 1 million Guild Members in March, Angel is even more energized to continually offer a full slate of new projects that share inspiring stories and entertainment that amplify light,” said David Fischer, Director of Business Affairs and Acquisitions at Angel.
“With the growth of the Guild, Angel was able to release 47 episodes, specials, and movies in April alone,” he continued. “With the Guild, Angel is able to efficiently select projects that will be both beloved and championed by the audience, and we are confident that this slate of films and shows will continue to give families trusted entertainment options.”
THE LAST RODEO will be in theaters starting on May 23. The movie is about a retired bull rider who’s forced to get back in the ring. As he prepares to relive the past again, he builds relationships with his daughter and estranged best friend.

TESTAMENT and MULLY are a couple of Angel’s upcoming summer releases. TESTAMENT retells the Book of Acts in an “alternate-modern era” in the new series. Jesus is resurrected, and His followers urgently share the good news under an oppressive regime. It will stream on Angel on June 8.
MULLY is a Kairos Prize® winning documentary of a man who lived to serve orphans. Charles Mully was an orphan himself who eventually became a millionaire. After building immense wealth, he sold his businesses and possessions to help house thousands of kids. It will stream on Angel in June.
Part of Movieguide®’s review of the movie reads, “MULLY is a beautiful story told from the perspective of Mully and his family. The story is enough to inspire and enthrall audiences, but the movie truly brings that story to life with a blend of joyful moments and horrific yet tasteful depictions of what it’s like to be an orphan on the streets.”
With plenty of impactful dramas, comedy specials, cartoons and other uplifting family content, Angel’s got something for everyone this month.
